When you do art you normally do it on paper. There are many different ways to present the paper: 

Portrait and landscape. You can also get different styles of paper: Thin/ thick, colored sand paper A5, A4, A3, A2, A1 AND A0

Hello! Welcome to our blog! We are called Tianna and Zoe. Today we’re going to teach you how to bake vanilla cupcakes!!!

 

Vanilla Cupcakes

Ingredients

 

Makes: 24 cupcakes

175g (6 oz) softened butter or Stork margarine

175g (6 oz) caster sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 eggs

175g (6 oz) self-raising flour

 

Method

  • Prep:10min  ›  Cook:14min  ›  Extra time:30min cooling  ›  Ready in:54min
  • Preheat the oven to 170 C / Gas 3.
  • Put the butter and sugar into a mixer and whizz up until light and fluffy.
  • Pour in the vanilla essence and add the eggs - whizz again to make a yellow batter.
  • Add the flour and mix until it is smooth, about 5 minutes. Stop once in the middle of this and scrape the sides down using a spatula. The longer mixing time enables air to get into the mixture which will make it lighter. Pour into fairy or cupcake cases.
  • Bake for about 14 minutes. Keep an eye on them. They will be perfect when they bounce back to the touch and the top still looks slightly sticky. This will ensure they keep their moisture.
  • Leave on a cooling rack for 30 minutes or until cool, then decorate as you wish.

Serving suggestion

Top with buttercream, fondant icing or just eat plain!!

Wookie Cookies

    INGREDIENTS  STEPS

    288 grams of flour  1. Preheat the oven to 190C

    1 teaspoon of baking soda  2. Put the flour, baking soda, salt and

    1 teaspoon of salt  cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Stir

    1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon  3. Add the butter and

    227 grams of unsalted butter  the brown sugar to

    128 grams of brown sugar  the bowl. Using an

    2 large eggs  electric whisk, mix for 3 mins until light and creamy.

    1 teaspoon of vanilla extract  Add in the vanilla extract and eggs. Mix again Stir in the chocolate chips

    Chocolate chips  4. Scoop up small balls of dough and place on a baking tray. Bake for 10 minutes, until golden brown

Rainbow Rice Krispie Cakes

Rainbow rice krispies treats (makes 25 squares.

Ingredients

1x400g pack of marshmallows  (I used pink and white ones-about 7 cups.

 

100g of butter (approx 7 tsp.)

7 cups rice krispies / rice bubble (approx 210g.)

Food colouring

Method

Grease and line a 20cm square cake tin with baking paper.
Place about 1tsp (14g) of butter and one cup of marshmallows (approx 60g) in a medium saucepan and place on low heat, stirring until  completely melted. Add purple food colouring (if want) and one cup of rice krispies (approx 30g), take off the heat and stir until well coated.
Using buttered spatula or a piece of wax paper , evenly press mixture into the bottom of the lined tin, trying to make it as even and well-packed as possible.

 

Repeat with same amount for each other colour;blue, green, yellow, orange and red, pressing each layer tightly over the top of the previous one in the pan. (Optional ) top with another layer with no colour added, making it 7 layers in eaten on the same day but can be stored in an airtight container lined with baking paper in the fridge. Can also be frozen for up to 6 weeks.

 

So if you feel like making a colourful, super easy treat, or need something cute for a party make these! It’s worth the effort.
